Residential Facility 24/7
The Methodist Home
- Child Care/Family
The Methodist Home is a multi-faceted residential care home providing a continuum of specialized treatment programs that address the needs of abused, neglected and abandoned children. Over the last 143 years, the Methodist Home has evolved from one 92-acre working farm with a few small buildings to six residential campuses that provide hope and happiness to at-risk children and youth.
The six campuses are located all over Georgia: Macon, Americus, Valdosta, St. Marys, Columbus, and Waverly Hall.
The St. Marys Campus was founded in 2002 and started operating on Kingsbay Road (Kingsland). With the new building that opened in 2003 on 3296 Winding Road in St. Marys, 12 beds are available for children who come from abusive or neglectful backgrounds. The Methodist Home provides a home for boys and young men at the age between 11 and 17 years.
